There are a lot of topics about this issue low fps, excessive cpu load, since April the game are unplayable, I know a lot of people who upgraded their pcs and the result, the game is worse than ever!

Before April the game was ok, so there is no reason people start spending a lot of money upgrading their pcs if this issue can be fixed with some command line by the devs.

I couldn’t play the game in April, only now in May, but before I take a break in April the game was fine.

When specifically the game started with this issue? April? when in April? please help giving information.

So, we can have a fix patch soon?

I just bought a 7950 a few months ago and everything was OK until recently. Now it’s running very loud and I’m too afraid to play the game because I don’t want to damage my GPU. Other games run fine. It’s upsetting because I just paid full price for this game in March and I also sank over $50 in fees to transfer servers and buy some cool items from the gem shop. Now I can’t play unless I want to risk having to buy another 300 dollar GPU. WTF?

Just monitor your temps! Run the game for awhile (minimum 10 minutes) and watch your temps… See if they go too high before making an assumption of possible damage. Fans run high to keep things cool, but you never know until you watch. Also gw2 is mostly CPU intensive, the GPU is typically under less load.

I agree, it’s not perfect, but you should have facts before asking for a fix. I also agree that things aren’t running as smoothly starting with the march 26th update, but recently, they mentioned that there were some “optimisations” in this latest patch and they will be continuing to implement new ones, so verifiable feedback is probably required, not speculation. If they made a change to the way a GPU handles the game, get them facts to let them know how well (or not) it is working.
