The latest update forces the user to a page to check the user agreement.
The “I Agree” button is greyed out – until the user checks the box to receive marketing and communications from ANet. The greyed out “I Agree” button can be clicked on to proceed, but that is not obvious.
It’s clear that this page is intended to be misleading and to trick users into signing up for marketing.
There is no way of unsubscribing from communications in the user account profile.
Anet is being incredibly disrespectful to your customers by engaging in such deceitful marketing practices.
Note that in Australia at least this is probably illegal under the Spam act. Anet legal needs to look at this.

I didn’t have to re-agree to any EULA this last update…or any update prior that comes to mind.

I think there is something wrong with your client. I just had the same pop up to accept it, and I didn’t have to click on the check box. If that is happening to you, sounds like something is wrong with your client.
