Spastic camera when using right mouse button to look.

When rotating the camera using the right mouse button, it will sometimes randomly spazz out and look a random direction. I tried both full screen and windowed mode and it happens in both. I also tried turning on and off all of the Mac mouse options. It happens with any combination of options turned on or off. Something I noticed is when you hold right click the mouse cursor all of a sudden appears in the middle of the screen for a split second before it disappears, no matter where you click on the screen (not sure if that is relevant).
This exact same problem was present with the “Crossover” port which was done by Codeweavers in Guild Wars 1. I know the Guild Wars 2 client is also not a Mac native client and is also a port being done by a different company, so this could be the same issue Codeweavers had with the Guild Wars 1 port. I have a feeling it is something to do with the camera smoothing in the Guild Wars engine.

there is a setting in the graphics options. Forget what its called but has to do with the camera. Set that to its lowest setting hit ok and restart Guild Wars 2. That should take care of it.

What is the option called? I already have everything under the graphics options tab set to the lowest.

I forget what its called. Its a slider though that should help narrow it down

The only slider in the graphics options is “Full-Screen Gamma”. This just changes the brightness.

The 3rd tab is sound options :-). Just reply once you have checked in game what the setting is actually called.

This will happen if mouse focus is clicked away from the GW2 window and you attempt to move the camera before clicking to re-establish focus. For example, if you switch to another application and then back to GW2. A single mouse click in the GW2 window when returning to the game should prevent this.

@DeadPhone – The rotation speed doesn’t help. It still happens, I’ve tried all of these options are lowest and max settings.
@Todd – I am playing in full screen, I cannot click away from Guild Wars. I know the problem you are talking about in windowed mode, but this is a separate issue all together.

Did you restart the client?

Did you restart the client?
Yes of course.. I have Guild Wars 2 set to full screen, so when it starts up it automatically goes full screen.

Just a quick update : I am on a 27’’ 2009 iMac and I always keep the resolution at 2560 × 1440. It seems that changing the resolution to 1920 × 1200 has helped the problem.
EDIT: Never mind it still happens, but seems a bit better.
