Guild Wars 2

Since probably most Mac Beta users are experiencing The Gem Store not working for them, is it possible for any special offers that might be on at this time to be extended for us? It would be a shame if a lot of Mac Beta users miss out on any special offers, such as the current discount on Character Slots (which I’m personally interested in!)

Agree with the other comments here… really unfair that Mac users have to continually miss out on freebies and sales when we PAID FULL PRICE for this game just like PC users. I love GW2 and just wish I could get as much out of it as my PC friends.

Very much interested in a sale extension until the Black Lion Trading Post issues are resolved!

Just seen that the sale on character slots is up until the 16th of april, so after the 15th april patch we should be okay, but still, let’s hope it’s fixed earlier than that.

The sale is going but we are already on day 3 of the tp not working. They wouldn’t let the PC players go 3 days without the tp!

Apparently there is a free item in the gem store today, a Bank Access Express. I know it isn’t anything huge, but with the TP broken we can’t get it.

This is fairly good news then. However, it only leaves us one day to buy the item at the discounted price, and that might not be convenient for everybody as we all have different pay days and pay day intervals (Weekly, Monthly, Bi-Monthly etc.)

I think they are going to be fixing it rather soon now, although they did say it will have been fixed last night, then today, and it’s still not happened, but fingers crossed by the April 15 Update if not before.

They said it’ll get fixed today.

Yeah, hopefully they mean later on today for North America, because today is over in 40 minutes here in the UK :-P

well looks like i have missed the 20% discount on character slots as i cant actually buy any gems.

The problem with the black lion trading company, for me has returned again
I have noticed for at least the last week I have not been able to have access to any part of the black lion trading company.

There are so many posts regarding this issue (I read many, but could not read all), I am just adding my voice, to be counted, regarding the … however you want to describe this lack of access….

I am nearly out of food, and do not have access to more/variety.

The last issue with the black lion trading company, I missed out on the discounted ‘special weapon ticket’ offer… among other discounts that were offered, during which in my vanity to possess a certain ‘weapon skin!’ I, after having submitted a ticket, deleting, re-downloading and getting the ‘purchase gem’ portion to load, bought $100 worth of gems, and due to the timing, ended up missing the discounted tickets, no longer able to afford that skin, that began the …. well, that really moved my desire to such actions.

and now… I am nearly out of food

it is not just the ‘purchase gem’ screen that doesn’t load, but the entire trading company as has been posted about numerous times before me.

I have to do what now? to get it to work… now.
I appreciate that there is at least such options, I do. And GW2 is one of three games that I have continued to play for years, despite how ever long the absences I at times have from it, (currently with how limited time is, GW2 is the only game I play, when I have time to play a game).

So now, after the update the Gem Store loads again, but now the Redeem Code & Buy Gems buttons don’t work. And with only 21 hours to go before the offer on 20% Off Character Slots runs out, it’d be really unfair to Mac Users if this offer wasn’t extended!

Not only should they extend sales, but they should also mail Mac users the freebies that the PC users have access to that we don’t. I wasn’t able to get my transmutation charges because the TP has been nonfunctional for DAYS.
