I am crashing more now than ever. Game freeze that I have to ctrl alt del out, sometimes I can send a report and helpful info (how about hire new people that are able to fix issues) or even bsod. I have done every fix listed in all the forums so far. I have exhaustively tried to make sure it is not my computer. And again and again and again I crash. I have tested, retested, and checked again. This game is the only thing I have any trouble at all in running. I do not have the authenticator running, I have updated every driver, rolled them back, clean installed, you name it. NOTHING has changed with anything I have done. I have not seen anything that suggests there is a consistency with this problem. All types of systems with all types of setups have had the same issue. I would like to know what is being done to address this. It has been months that you have been aware of the issue. I am only posting here that maybe, just maybe someone can relay this to someone who can actually do something. Apparently support tickets, other posts, etc. don’t seem to work. So I thought I would be one more person kittening about how bad this is and maybe this will be the post that gets someone to get this resolved.

If someone from anet wants to know anything about my setup, please contact me, as I am so frustrated and tired of cussing your lack of support so far. I want a resolution to this or at least an attempt to resolve it. I want it to be public knowledge, because so far you appear to be in denial that there is a problem on your end. Just because you can’t fix it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. I can duplicate it easily. Hell, I will send you my computer and you can see how bad it is. Just please do something to make this right.

Anet will most likely not contact you at all, about this issue. They have enough work to do without adding “contact one user about a problem many users are having.” The best you will likely get is someone from Anet posting in this thread, asking you to provide information that you should already know needs to be provided.

At a minimum, you should attach a dxdiat.txt report of your system so that Anet will know exactly what hardware, OS, and driver versions you are running. Beyond that, it would also be helpful if you provide info on your power supply make and model, in case that has anything to do with the crashes. And if you want to be more helpful, you can go into more detail about what you tested and how you tested it, in case that helps give them any insight into the situation or helps them rule out any of the common causes of crashes.

An hour ago I might have fully supported this. Back then I was at my third try of playing today and my quota was 5 crashes in 10 minutes (which includes long loading times to LA). After the 11ths, which was a nice bsod I was ready to throw something against the wall. Now I have calmed down somewhat. It’s only a game after all.
But seriously. I actually had become used to 1-4 crashes/freezes that demand crtl alt del a day ( in several hours of playing), but after the update today it has become way unplayable. Then again, in what kind of game does one have to get used to the game freezing up?

You are obviously missing my point….computer specs from hundreds of people have been posted, thousands of dxsdiag posting, screenshots out the wazoo (I like that word) as well as the same hardware combos that dozens of others are using, etc. This problem transcends my stuff, but I realize they want my specifics to narrow the cause down. The problem is that this has been going on for months with ZERO progress even with hundreds of people posting all of this. Without trying to be annoying, I have the latest drivers for all of my hardware, verified by the people who helped me build my comp, as well as my online searching (and again I have tried older versions too) and I have the same hardware combinations as many others who have the same issue. Long story short—one more list of reports isn’t going to turn the light bulb on for these people. Other than a one on one consultation nothing will be resolved as an issue on my computer from their end, and I have exhaustively eliminated that from every other aspect. I am basically trying this as a last ditch effort that maybe this is the straw that breaks the camel’s back and they fix it.
