Strange latency issues.

You may also post a game diagnostic tool report that an Anet rep may use to troubleshoot your network latency issues in this Tech Support forum. If you have a standard GW2 install, you should be able to right click the game icon under “C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe”. Click “Create shortcut”. Rename the shortcut to what you like by right clicking the shortcut. Then right click the shortcut you renamed and select Properties. Now you should be seeing a window open with the Shortcut Properties Shortcut tab selected. Where it says “Target:”, type “-diag” appended to it like this: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -diag
Click OK. Start the diagnostic test by clicking the new shortcut icon. After all six tests display “Complete”, click “View Results”. A text file will open called NetworkDiag. Click “File” and click “Save” or “Save As . . .” to save the text file. Then post your diagnostic report by attaching the text file to this merged thread: Network Lag [Merged].
Hello there! I´m from Sweden and im playing on Gunnars Hold server and i´m experiencing strange latency issues late at night. During the day the game works like clockwork as allways but when i log on at aroun 9 PM the latency starts to make the game unplayable.
I have never seen this behaviour before but it is starting to drive me crazy since often times i can only play in the evening or night.
Any suggestions would be most welcome
I’m also on Gunnars and have noticed this at around 9-11pm on Saturday and Sunday nights. It’s sporadic for me though, not constant. Worth running a ping -t www.google.com in command prompt while the latency is occuring.
