Guild Wars 2

first off, i have played GW2 since launch but took a few months off. After playing the Heart of Thorns beta i decided to come back. After purchasing the expansion i went to download, this is where the problem started. First time round i got stuck at the 1 file remaining. So i tried everything the forum suggested at no avail. I uninstalled and reinstalled but same thing happened…

I tried again, changing language ect, deleting local.dat, changing ip address thingy, and everything google can throw at me…. but still nothing. what ever i try i will not work.

Now i have spent a considerable amount of money on Gw2…. Why on earth is it so kitten hard to play the game now? all i ask is that i get a solution… or i want my money back for the expansion.

Change IP address? You mean fake location in the world so that you get routed traffic through different servers in the hopes the file will arrive? That’s why people use a VPN to fix this problem.
