I seem to be stuck on the loading screen for Lion’s Arch, the little loading wheel just keeps spinning forever. Anyone else have this problem? Any known fixes?

Me too. Can’t load any of my characters now.

I can hear the background sounds as if the game has loaded but I remain on the loading screen and its not just toons in Lion’s Arch.

Havent really been able to play most of the day today due to lag / disconnects / now loading bugs…..

after a while I am able to load a character however the server connections issues persist. My toon is clearly just free-roaming out of synch with the game server. No skills can be used. Weapon swaps dont happen, etc.

I often get this at peak times and im putting it down to “growing pains” but at this point Im just about ready to call it quits and go play something else for a few months until they sort this out.

although we bought it for about 60$ , there is no monthly fee, so the devs do not really care about these kind of problems.
stopping a sub due to this, is a major threat to devs revenues…not playing GW2 for some months, well they just do not care, cause you already bought their title
now, this loading screen problem is due to not enough bandwidth to support all their customers at once.
upgrading their bandwidth cost MONEY, and they really not gonna spend some money god forbid on their customers , cause there is no monthly fee.
get it…we are kind of screwed, cause we can not hurt their pockets what so over, as we already bought their product.

Hmm, okay. I only seem to have problems during any sort of PVP, I couldn’t load into a sPVP match and I also coudn’t loading coming back from a WvW match. I really enjoy the game and I’m still new so I guess I’ll just wait till they patch it up or something. I’ve seen many players with this problem so I hope it gets fixed soon. For the mean time, if anyone has any fixes, please do tell.

I’ve been getting this as well. It’s crap-shoot when entering Lion’s Arch or the Personal Story instances associated with it (like the claw island stuff) whether I’ll actually load or whether I’ll just desynch a few minutes after entering.
