Guild Wars 2

For example, after I finish creating my Char Revenant I get stuck at Fury of The Dead loading screen. The little loading circle stops turning, screen flickers a little and then I start hearing the background noise of the zone, random npc Chars roaring, etc

I have made Human Revenant, Vegetable Mesmer guy, all the same.

I have already repaired the client, turned off applications in startup/boot.

This is my first time playing GW2, I just bought the copy 3 days ago.

After clicking ‘ready’ in the lab, or ‘ready’ at the end of a fractal, I cannot travel beyond the loading screen!

I’ve waited up to 5 minutes for the loading screen now, and each time I’m having to forceably end my game client through Task Manager and relog back into the game.

patched messed things up. dungeons have the same problem

I’m stuck on the Mistlock Observatory loading screen when entering from Lion’s Arch.
Not sure if it’s connected, but I blame the last update (about 30 minutes ago).

After the last patch a few minutes ago,I can’t enter fractals and
I’m stuck in the fractals loading screen.

its everything, map change , entering dragonball, even changing character and starting the game, everything that needs loading freezes up.

Can get into Fractals either. So much for my dailies….

I am stuck in the loading screen to “The Jungle Provides” HoT story mission. Apparently it’s not fractals related. After ALT+F4 my character gets ported to the initial WP of verdant falls or how it’s called…

Basically any loading screen can freeze the game right now. happens to me about 80% of the time since the hotfix a few minutes ago.
Hopefully this is just a temporary overload due to patch and login activity.

Yup, just noticed that, cannot change zones at all. This is rediculous, honestly!

Gotta set your priorities.
Gliding>Everything else.

Similar problems – can’t login to characters on HoT maps. For a while even guild hall

I have same issue – neverending loading screen in teleport to Guilded Hollow.

Some one else having a extreme loading screen times? When entering the fracts lab or HoT maps

Actually, I cannot even log back into the game anymore!

As soon as I chose a character, I just get the endless loadscreen.

Sigh…

Characters get stuck in never ending loading screens and cannot be used,

I’ve had it happen on all the HoT Maps, but other people reported it on Fractals/Dungeons/Home instances etc as well.

please fix it fast, it’s friday evening…

Experiencing the same thing. Couldn’t go into fractals, got stuck and had to kill the game off 3 times.

i tried to go to verdant brink whit some friends, and i wasnt able to load the map, i was eternally on the loading screen, my other friends did load the screen, but it took them way more than usual, and they tried to go into the raid, and they also cant load the raid map at all, all of them tried separately, nobody manages to load.

Same for the loading screen in sPvP!

Same here. I can go from Gendarran Fields to Lion’s Arch, but the guild hall, Auric Basin among others load until the server connection times out.

Yep!. Absolutely no progress in loading maps. (Auric Basin/PVP)

I have the same problem. I have two characters locked at various loading screens.
Please ANet do something

i tried to enter charr personal story instanz lvl 20 three times now got stuck on loading screen every time for 10 mins

A mod needs to merge these.
Multiple threads for the same issue.

I logged in ok 30 mins ago,now when i try to change zones,im just stuck at loading screen.
The lights on my router are not blinking,so i guess its a problem with the servers.

Hey, I’ve been trying to get into the Durmand Priory instance since the new patch… and haven’t suceeded at all. =( I don’t know if it might be related to your problem.

My client stored information (account, password and language) also resetted after the patch fyi.

Guys, what on earth have you done. 25+ second load times, IF it loads.

Is this a joke? I couldnt pick gliding skill, they fix it and now i cant join the game with this loading screens. OK :/

Same, but in Auric Basin. Trying to start Strange Observations, cue loading screen forever, restart the game – character gets ported to the first WP in the area.

Having the same problem… Seems to affect certain maps more than others. I can load Wayfarer (although I seem to have been put back at the Hoelbrak entrance), but Skyhammer and Gilded Hollow are pretty much impossible. Anyone notice anything similar?

Sadly, no. Simply waiting doeasn’t always work. I tried that as well and sometimes you’ll simply get disconnected that way entirely due to a timeout.

Ok, bois I’m appriciate that you gave everyone pvp farmable achivement that has nothing to do with their skill lvl (I got it too, do I care?…), but now i cannot 360- no scope people in pvp right now at all.

Load screen fail = cannot do 30 man guild trek.
