Guild Wars 2

Since the latest update my GW2 client (64-bit; SSD) often gets stuck on borderland loading screens in WvW, usually for about 3-4 minutes until the game finally loads. Mostly this occurs after the game has been running for at least 30 minutes or more. Restarting the client solves the problem, but with the new world-linking this generally means waiting in a queue for even longer. It never happened before the update and nothing else has been changed on my computer. Any ideas?

I have the same problem, removing local.dat in % AppData%/GuildWars2 temporary solved the issue for a while, but today it came back.

Last night it happened to me, after the game started stuttering all over the place, i’m using the 64bit client, maybe it’s a memory leak.

Same problem here. Random 3min loading screens in WvW when way-pointing. Also, massive packet loss going on from about a month ago. WvW nearly unplayable at prime time. Many on Piken Square experiencing same problem. Appreciate help arena.net

Same thing happening to me and others I know, usually after about 2 hours of play npcs start to not render, player models don’t load properly and only load the standard models, then next is my weapons become invisible, and as others have mentioned trying to use a WP means a 3 min loading screen, this def seems like some kinda memory leak and it only started to happen after the last big patch.

I noticed that there was stuttering or micro freezes whatever you like to call it after the SAB patch. It just got worse and worse until forced to do a game restart. I am OCX and another friend who plays from Australia was having the same issue. I haven’t noticed the microfreezing since the latest patch but definitely problems with waypointing in wvw particularly in EBG where it can take up to 5 mins to respawn. Experiencing the standard models after a couple of long respawns and my toon is invisible to me after using liche form…this remains until restarting game…something odd is definitely going on. Haven’t noticed it in general play only wvw.
