Guild Wars 2

Greetings.

During my regular gameplay today, I experienced something very weird, which I can’t seem to resolve.

I was just minding my own business, when my game client all of a sudden dropped to a constant 4-6 FPS, from a stable 60 and it refuses to improve it, even at the very lowest graphics settings.

I attempted to restart the client, restart my PC, closing all other running programs, ran a virus scan, checked for updated drivers and nothing seemed to help. Every single time I start the client, right from the character selection screen, the frames drop to the ground.

I could really use some help on this issue.

are you located at the Black Citadel?
the same problem happens to me sometimes if i’m there or teleport away from there.

but nevermind, your framerate already drops to the ground at the character selection screen…

try deleting the “local.dat” file located at “C:\Users\”username"\My Documents\Guild Wars 2\" and do a repair:
