Or do i have the correct ammount? Since i just checked my email again and i read this line over and over again “All items eligible for a refund have been processed at this time. You will see your refund reflected in your gem total on the Gem Store.”

Depends on how many items you wanted a refund for, I suppose.

Do you have a list of all the items you requested a refund for? You can just add up the cost of each, and see if that matches the total refunded.
on the flipside, i requested a refund on 4 sets of magitech and 1 phalanx (dupe sets i bought prior to the patch) and got this reply 20 hours ago:
“As a general rule, we are not able to offer a gem refund. However, in this case, we were able to refund your gems and they have been added to your account. Please check your gem balance for confirmation.
We cannot guarantee that a similar refund will be possible in the future, so please exercise care when conducting all your gem transactions."
my gem balance is still 0
hmm that’s odd. Anyway the items i requested refund for was 2 armor sets (1600 gems total) and 2 weapon skins (1200 gems total) but they might have given me for alot of other duplicate purchases over the year(s) i’ve bought gems.
No, they would only give you a refund for what you requested. It must be an error. Best to wait for a response. Commendable that you brought it to their attention.

I can see why he’d want to make sure it’s legit before spending the gems. What happens if he buys a bunch of stuff and then they go to deduct the mistaken amount from his account and take all the goodies back? It’s not shooting yourself in the foot to be honest about a mistake even if it doesn’t hurt anyone.
In any event, even if it is a mistake, since you brought it to their attention they’ll probably just let you keep them. I’ve certainly seen other people who got extra gold or gems or duplicate items from ANet who were just told “Thanks for letting us know, please keep it with out compliments.”

And why i checked that the ammount was correct is that i don’t wanna risk getting banned. I’m a really paranoid person ;_;
ArenaNet checking he got the correct amount of gems on their own without any complains? I doubt it. Apparently, according to OP, they’re wrong anyway but they’re just not aware of it so you know…xD
Maybe they refunded him his entire history for the last 90 days? Maybe check your bank account, maybe pushed purchase gems way to many times?
