I am posting this because my primary Guild Wars 2 account has been suspended\Permanent. Liquidmetal.6825. Now this was total BS I have purchased 4 copies of this game for for my friends who are less fortunate than I am and I also purchased over 500 dollars worth of gems. Now I took those gems and turned them to gold and gave them (My Friends) each money and I also bought items from AH and sent that to them as well. Now I have been happily playing till the Halloween event then took a break. I come back in yesterday and I decided I wanted to switch servers to join a group of people in their guild and no issues and then go to start playing in a dungeon and bam I get disconnected, with the above message. Your Guild Wars 2 Account has Been Suspended for an account issue. This action is permanent. (1 am I suspended and when do i get access back or since this is permanent does that mean I will never get access again? Nothing is clear with them…. Either way I didn’t do anything wrong………..)

I am sitting back in my chair and asking myself what the heck just happened. I didn’t do a dang thing wrong but be nice to my friends and give them gifts and help them out. Now with the gems I feel as though I should be allowed to do with them as I see fit. If I want to buy GW2 items fine if I want to switch it over to all play money I should be able to and furthermore if i see fit to give my money away to anyone in the game I should not be banned for it. I am wealthy enough in real life that I can do these things for others.

I have created a ticket on this already 130103-002926 and I would have posted here but I couldn’t because they banned my account. Now the measures I am willing to take are very far because this was wrongfully done to me and I am sure others. I hope this message gets to the right people and they see how wrong they really are treating some honest players. I will even go as far as posting the purchases I have made with this company to prove I have been an honest player and dedicated fan and this is how they repay me. I want my account restored and I want an apology from them.

Ouch. First off must be nice to have that much extra cash ;-)

If I had to guess you sending large chunks of money to multiple people in game tripped a gold selling detection filter of some kind. It is understandable that it would. Also understandable you are frustrated. I would imagine it will be reversed with the ticket if it is as you outlined it

The other thing that really ticks me off is I litterly just joined a guild and they were like what the heck you just got banned what did you do. Now I have to explain to them I did nothing wrong and this whole thing makes me look like the bad guy. So ticked.

yeah I understand I am waiting out my 72 hours right now or hopefully help from ANET on my issue. i was really kitten yesterday when it happened now I am just sad and spending too much time on the forums…

yes same ting on my sons account. my trader not working so i gave him gold to buy what i needed. In AC run he was banned. I play with my 2 sons just one keeps getting banned for same reason he is not doing any thing wrong.

The proper way to get help, though, isn’t through a forum post but is exactly what you did: contact Support by filing a ticket through the “Ask a Question” tab on that linked page. They will be able to assist you. For tips on what information to provide in a ticket, in case you want to provide more details, please read this post and you can add any additional info to your existing ticket. (Please do not make a new one.)
