HI, I am one of the GW2 player, recently, I was blocked by saying selling golds,

Here is the story, but I don’t expect you all belive in this, but one day when you have same situation you will realize how this feel like,

I played a thief chr, and got to lv80 at the time I follow the Winter day event everyday, everytime you get “magic glue” or “stuffing” for 250pcs, and a “frame” each day, after five days event, someone told me you can mix “50pcs Magic Glue” and “50pcs stuffing” “Frame” and “Piles of Glittering Dust” to mix to a “Endless tonic”, once you have 4 Tonics, you are able to create a new tonic, which I got “Endless gift Dolyak tonic” and I sold it on the BL trading for 60Golds.

When I got such among of golds I was so happy, and I send 5 golds each to 4 of my friends, after that, at the night time when I was playing all the sudden, I got kick out the game, and saying I was blocked by selling golds for real-world money, so I post a support ticket to get help.

After 4 days waitting I finally got reply by GW2, and they just give me a message said my account was close as I have been selling golds,

some of my friends were blocked by borrowing each golds as well, eventually they got back the account.

Here are some Questions that I really don’t understand:

1. By saying I am selling golds for real world money, does GW2 has any prove ?? or just ramdomly block and close account ?? or (what is the prove ??)

2. If GW2 has open the function to send items and golds by mail doesn’t that mean you can use this function ?? otherwise do we have to report to GW2 everytime when we try to send a item or golds by mail, and wait for GW2 reply (which usaully take 1-3 days)

3. Some of the people who was Suspended the same reason and have unlocked, but the Suspended reason was been change by GW2 from “selling golds” to “Account been Hack”, and GW2 has give the reason by saying we think your account was been hack from someone, so we have to suspend you incase you lost anything,
(with this explanation dose GW2 try to deny they did mistaken suspend some players).

Gaile Gray tried to tell me that just sending gold to people doesn’t get you banned. But you can understand why I would be skeptical.

Anyways, these forums can’t really help you much, you need to bring this up with customer support. Maybe you can get Gaile Gray to help you with that.

thank you for your reply but try not to send on the mail, because it will be block for sure, as a lot of my friends have try.

Did you appeal the decision correctly? If you don’t appeal in the correct categories, all you’ll get is a canned response.
