Guild Wars 2

Hi.
This is my 4th time being kicked out of the game for “naming policy violation”
at the moment when the last 3 day suspension occured, character names were:

Fk Ranger
F K Same
F K Barracuda – thief always targeted by this issue, been renamed several times before(previous names “Girl And A Cat” and “Dat Animal”) today account got suspended again, and i received a GM response to my ticket containing this:

“These names are in violation of the Guild Wars 2 Naming Policy. Your account has received a mark that resulted in a temporary suspension from the game. After the suspension is over you can access your account and will be offered the option to rename these characters with new names. Please choose names that are within the acceptable standards of Guild Wars 2, for additional violations of this or other rules will result in extended suspensions and in severe cases will result in termination of the account.”

I know we are not supposed to use forums for these issues, but i don’t want to wait 3 days for response each time account gets suspended for 3 days for no reason. It kills the whole point of support system, besides this is my last resort, since GM Lloyd seems to get easily offended by Barracudas, other fish species and animals in general.

I’ve gone through naming policy several times and i still have not a foggiest idea about what name “F K Barracuda” can be violating in it. Please help me deal with this issue, because with this GM assigned to my ticket i only get copy-pasted messages about my account getting eventually terminated if it keeps getting suspended – [you don’t say.jpg] here.

It’s not the Barracuda that’s offensive, but the “F K” part.

if it was “F K” part, they’d easily make it obvious by prompting me to rename all 3 characters, not just my thief, don’t you think so? Besides it’s my online alias initials, random people just can take an abbreviation apart the way their perverted mind wants to and ban me, is that what you are saying? That can be done to any name then, no matter how long it is.

Well, I think your Thief’s name was the one that was reported, not the others. It would be interesting to know if they only look at the reported name, rather than the full account’s character list. As for your account name itself, it could be that no one made an effort to reporting that… yet.

But going back to the offensive part, try sounding out your abbreviated initials. I’m guessing that’s what when through the mind of the GM that infracted you. That’s all I’m really trying to say.

Ok. Few more questions.

1. Disallowed combination – are we now making them up on the way, changing rules as we go? It’s not in the Naming Policies and you know what assumptions do to us.

2. Four separate infractions in 10 days – to me it’s one and the same ego-inflated infraction over and over. Don’t you think that account blocking/suspension has to point out at the issue at least with help of Naming Policy direct quotation or something like that. How is player supposed to know what the issue with the naming is if he only gets namechange prompted to only one character, even though this imaginary violation is present on every character? It’s quite logical that i won’t pay attention to the “F K”-part since it’s ignored on every other character, or am i wrong here??? We don’t know how your reporting system works, i can’t read minds. I see my old nickname there, you’re the ones who see “… whatever you see” and other stuff. Point it out then, instead of kicking,kicking,suspending,suspending,terminating permanently. Being chewed on by a bureaucratic machine that doesn’t help at all, just copy-pastes non-sense isn’t much fun, you know.

3. Most important -how do we fix this? Each time you block it, only the thief gets name change prompt. If you had done this to all 3 characters initially, the problem would have been solved as soon as it appeared. But instead we’re just renaming a thief, leaving the other two characters vulnerable to consecutive suspensions and initially account termination and all i get is a link to “Naming policy” which i probably know by heart right now. TRYING TO SAY HERE – those 2 namechange prompts, 1st suspension, 2nd suspension, could in no way solve the problem i was getting them for. I can’t rename them all if only one can be renamed.
Provide a resource or an opportunity to solve the problem instead of blocking over and over, for the same thing that does not depend on me.

And yes, i’d like to keep using forum on this issue, waiting 3 days for support response on 3 day suspension is just stupid.
