Swapped to a new case
Did you put the video card into the wrong slot? The x16 physically closest to the CPU is usually the true x16 slot. You may want to pull and reseat it. Also if you videocard takes external power, make sure that connector is firmly connected.
Run the GPU-Z utility (google for it) and post a screen shot of it’s results. I’m going to guess it stuck running only x1 and it’s not “waking up” from 2D mode.
Just SWAGGING.

I only have one video card slot and it doesn’t have an external power source :/ I’ll give the GPU-Z Utility a try when I get home today, if it is the issue that it’s not waking up from 2D mode, what would be a fix for it?
Try re-seating the graphics card a couple of times.
GPU Load 99%
15 fps on lowest settings
?
What?
That doesn’t make sense.
Got the feeling you will be fishing around in the dark for a solution. What screen resolution are you now playing at?
MSI GTX 1080 Sea Hawk EK X 2xSLI 2025 / 11016 MHz, liquid cooling custom loop.
Samsung 850 Evo 500 GB. HTC Vive.
Note about half way down, right column of the Graphics card tab it says your graphics card is running @ x1 2.0, that’s your problem.
Not sure why this happens on occasion, that the card simply doesn’t use all 16 PCIe channels.
Again you only have one physical x16 slot? And that’s the closest one to the CPU? Pull the card, make show the slot is clean and the edge connector on the card isn’t tarnished and reseat it. I would appreciate any other suggestions as well.
