Hi. This topic isn’t for me but for anyone who has the installation problem: “download failed please check your internet connection and try again” or the problem: “Connection error(s) detected retrying…” . You may have already seen the firewall solution and AVG or even the ports solution. But before doing all of this, try a little thing and it is to uninstall the program: “speedbit video accelerator”. If you still have the problem, don’t warry! You just need to disable your firewall!
The other solutions (firewall, AVG, ports) can only help if this program is uninstalled, and try them only if what I wrote above didn’t help.
Please request sticky to help A LOT of people with the same problem!

Just to add to this: Download accelerators should not be used with games, it may increase your download speed through compression of data (unimportant) but it will have a severe impact on your connections latency and in game lag (important)
