Guild Wars 2

This is my first Post on Guild Wars II Forums. I have recently been banned for inappropriate gameplay. I was recently in Southsun Cove and i was ported around, i mean i was standing still and i was then ported 10 feet behind me and then 15 feet in front of that. After investigation i was then unbanned but the gm said that i did do something wrong but they were showing leniency. I was just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue. If you have had the same issue i emplore you to bug report and let the gm’s know this so more innocent players aren’t wrongfully accused of doing something wrong when there is a obvious bug in the game that they need to work on fixing.

Happened to me as result of inet connection problems (I guess), server and client couldn’t fully agree where I am, maybe due to some lost packages.

No idea how it looked for others, it looked strange to me. But I had no interaction with ANet due to that.

I would be very careful about posting on GM actions and bannings on this forum. In most games, it in itself is an actionable offense.

All i am trying to do here is prevent the same thing happening to other players. I would think that the people who produce this game and execute it would understand this is me just trying to make people aware that there is a problem and all i am doing is trying to help others out.

So your claim is that you rubber-banded ONE time in Southsun and got banned for it?

Sorry, not buying that is the entire story here.

Sometimes in Southsun I will suddenly port under the map. It’s quite scary but I just WP out IMMEDIATELY. Never been banned but it has only happened probably 2 or 3 times.
