So I’ve tried to do Tequatl 4 times now after the Tequatl rising. Other than the first time, I have been disconnected from the server during the event. Not to mention I get almost 2 min lag that happens for about 4 mins before I get kicked out. I have just about every setting I know on the lowest setting it can be. I don’t even get any type of FPS drop like I usually do in WvW. I’m just lagging out of the server during the event. Do I need to get faster internet to do this event or am I doing something weird… I have a Network Diag done that I can post

That would be unfortunate if they made the event only for people with fast internet connection. At least announce that. By the way, I also cannot participate in the event for the same reasons as you. I can login fine when the event is not active.

They should just end this event now because it is unfair. I am amazed that some people are complaing that they got to the overflow when I can not even get into the game. If ANet is not ready for this content they should just end it, and if they created it for players with faster internet connection then announce it or inform everyone about the new internet requirement for the game.

i cant get the daily cause of it crashing n this server can connect kitten, wish they shut the game down completely tell they fix it other games do it nexion does n few others

There are a lot of issues lately in the US with the internet. Please do the following:

When you do get ingame; type in “/ip” to get the IP of your server. Then in Windows, go to Start and type in “cmd” and hit enter. At the command prompt type in “pathping <ip>” and post the results.

I’m having a really hard time not using adult language at this point in time. Disconnect EVERY TIME. Unable to do ANYTHING due to lag…

And without any information about your setup; nothing can be fixed. This issue can exist anywhere between Anet and you; start with a pathping as I listed above. Let’s rule out any connection issues first.
