Hey guys, I have been playing GW2 on and off since release day, I am playing on Borlis Pass server. I have never experienced any kind of lag whatsoever in my years of playing and run the game on all max settings with 60 FPS. Specs are i7-6820HK, GTX 980M, 16GB ram, and the game is on my SSD. So in the past 3 days, starting on Saturday I have experienced this problem with lag, there is no rubber banding or freezing of any kind, ping is usually less than 100ms but today it was 300 for some reason. The problem is I will press keys and sometimes they will not register. I am no longer able to double click anything or double tap buttons, they just don’t register at all, and for example if i spam space bar to keep jumping there will be points in which my toon does not jump at all, not like input lag but more so as if I never even pressed the button to begin with. I recently installed the newest update to Nvidia Geforce experience and coincidentally the problem occurred around the same time, but I do not get this issue with any other games and my ping for most other games seems fine (under 100ms). So I am wondering, do you guys think it is just the server? (Borlis Pass) Or are other people experiencing this same problem too? I really don’t know what to do at this point, but the game is basically unplayable at the moment.

I lost a ranked game cause of it. Glad, i m not the only one experiencing this.

Im the same, just tried loggin in and it took minutes from selecting the char, to when I got into a zone… ping’s around 2500-4000
when they’re normally around 300

My son couldn’t even login (from his PC/account), as it gave him a disconnect error.

The game is pretty much unplayable for me tonight. In the past 24 hours, I have run four WinMTR reports at Anet’s request, as well as two additional tests they asked for, communicated with two service reps – one of whom told me to bypass my wireless router, which I did (but the issue has only gotten worse).

I’m at a loss. The game is close to broken for me because of this. I have no idea what is going on.

Yeah the game has been almost unplayable for me the past few days too now, I went on last night and it seemed my ping was only at 67ms average but still I was experiencing bad feedback lag when moving. While typing in chat my keys do not lag at all though. My girlfriend plays on a lower performance system on the same Wi-Fi connection as me and for some reason she doesn’t experience the feedback lag as bad as I do. Hopefully the issue is resolved soon, I’ve never experienced lag this bad even on launch day with my old crappy laptop with intel GMA 4500 running on max low settings
