For reducing memory usage on 32 bit clients. Did not have a crash after 3 hours of play time, first time in weeks, and I was not crashing every 2 to 4 minutes like I was earlier this week.

Good news ! Did you crash at the end of meta events, or you didn’t try that yet?

At a wild guess, I would say they reduced the number of lighting and ambient effects for the 32-bit client. One of the more common OOM errors I’ve notice people posting is “Lightning ran out of space for new bolts.”. As I say, just a wild guess.
