I have been experiencing a lot of lag with the latest patch (not tuesday’s release, but friday’s) Ever since the WvW season started, I have had a lot of lag and at times it makes the game unplayable. I am on the Maguuma server and I have friends who are experiencing the same thing.

However, I also have friends on Fergusson’s Crossing who are not experiencing this lag at all.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Or is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I don’t think it started with WvW season but it definitely got much much worse with the release of the WvW season.

I can go around and have 20 seconds of lag, that is I see EVERYTHING 20 seconds late (20 seconds in the past) and am unable to act at all much like skill lag in WvW, and that is if the server doesn’t just decide to disconnect my client all together.

Tracert, Pathping both show no issues most of the time through Dallas(texas) up until anet servers.

I am also experiencing a lot of lag but my lags just happened after the monday update 10/21/2013

Same on JQ. I get bad lag in wvw, spvp, and open world to point there mostly unplayable unless I feel like playing stop motion gw2. The only time I dont actually have lag since the patch is in dungeons.

I’ve noticed this in WvW, SOS server. Not had too much trouble in the past but this week WvW is very difficult to play with the lag. TTS Tequatl fights are also pretty bad this week but those are on overflow. Yesterdays 10pm fight I was stuck in one spot rubberbanding backward & forward from the first battery phase, skills not able to be used
Lag is crippling the game

on Aurora Glade server and all i can say is right now the game is utterly broken. lag spikes have been getting increasingly worse. WVW is becoming unplayable as only tower siege’s can be played any garrison sieges are now just rubber banding events, ive done ping test etc and my internet connection is of quality A and before all the lag my computer was giving me a comfortable 70 fps even in lions arch. Today i got DC from a dungeon 8 times reset my modem and everything. So as of now i wont be logging into my account for a while as instead of repairing any problems all you seem to do is release more and more content which is creating more and more problems; get your priorities in order.

the lag is horrendous, even in LA…its not just WVW. This is the first time out of all the list of issues that I have felt like not playing the game. Its really debilitating and its not just lag my frame rates are doing really weird things I have never seen before.
