They should also:
-Fix the client, re-downloading the whole game without an option to circumvent, is not exactly fun.
-Start reading the posts before they close them(and not slap Generic QA’s as a solution we should look up)
-Start caring about customers. And give us an option to manually DL single files from some kind of repository for manual fixes.(i am guessing the 14,6gb Blob of a DAT file has something to do with the client RE-DLing the whole game w/o giving me a choice)

Anet is a joke to me now and these “community moderators” need to do something else with their Art History degrees.
IMHO it looks like customer support amateur hour here :S i saw more competent customer support work when i worked for a local GSM operator Saunalahti as a face to face customer support personel. I saw some guys and girls looking like they were tired at their life, but hell they still listened to the problem and solved it…. my problem was either not read or simply missed completely :S

awww kitten, i just chekked on my re-dl progress… 177K files left of 216K something…. and it has ran for 5 hours now…. then most likely updates on top of it… Thank you Anet. Well atleast i got something put inside my Hometheatre set while i wait for the stupid client to Re-dl the whole game -.-

Enough with the childish bashing. If you have something worthwhile to say, then post, otherwise why not move on to another game while the rest of us work together on these forums and try to progress the game.
You guys do not understand the undertaking, commitment, and risk involved – 6 years of work. I’m a software engineer by trade and not one person has truly thanked me for what I do either. Software development is not an overnight process. Show some respect – they’re working on it!
@HCP if you dont like it, dont read it, simple as that. And its hard to show respect if they dont even acknowledge the problem. We do apreciate the work they put in, but we are paying customers, thats something you need to bear in mind, we expect our products to work. Though the mods, well i havent seen anything to thank them for yet, if anything they made it harder for me to get answers.
Also i dont think we are interested enough in your personal life that we asked for what you do for a living, and wether or not someone has expressed gratitude towards the work you do.
Hell i could say “i am a truck driver who never slacks off and is allways on schedule, no one has ever thanked me” OR " i am school teacher no one has ever thanked me for the education i give them"
No one gives a Flying one, it is the job you are expected to do.
