I’m really getting fed up by some of your servers. I’m an European player and I don’t know why, but some of your tPvP instances are really really laggy. My actions won’t fire up, I see people teleport all around me, things don’t move during 3 to 5 seconds (beside me) and then everything happens at once and I usually get nuked pretty hard at this point with no way to do anything.

I’m wondering if you guys aren’t trying to cut corners here and are using some US tPvP servers for European players… because sometimes it really feels like I’m playing on a server hosted on the other side of the world… and yeah, I may not own the fastest internet connection ever, but it’s fast enough to play your game (heck, on some tPvP servers I don’t have any lag at all).

Add on top of that your endless loading bug in tPvP and you’ve got yourself a really screwed up game which I really don’t enjoy at all at the moment (and as far as I know, I’m far from being the only one with this lag issue).

Please do something about these… I haven’t been able to enjoy a single night of GW2 for weeks now. Everytime I play your game I get really infuriated by these lags and I just end up closing the game… some day I just won’t bother coming back at all.

Edit : oh and yes, I know there’s already a [Merged] topic about lags… but it has over 600 replies and it seems like the devs don’t even bother looking at it. You’d think something would have been done by now with all the fuss going on in this thread.

Today it is horrendous. Get disconnected every minute to minute and a half. Unplayable.

Been getting this annoying lag for the past 5 days since i’ve moved back on Borlis Pass. Usually happens around 6pm till 11pm. I tried resetting the modem/router/flushdns, nothing works. Lets hope its not permanent. It feels like playing in Gandara(EU) server from the U.S.

Two months later, same peak hour lag, 2000-5000 ms bursts, average 800ms ping in both GW1 and GW2.

How kittening long can it take to sort your bandwidth problems out? This is beyond ridiculous.

All you’ll get to hear, it’s our isp’s. There are a helluva many isp’s that are really bad then. Only for playing GW2 of course.

i can’t believe this issue is not being addressed since it affects so many people and makes the game UNPLAYABLE! ridiculous….

yeah..idk wtf they doing this issue has been around for a long time just look at the merged lag thread. This game is unplayable for me unless I get some proxy program like battleping which I dont wanna have to pay for monthly. Every other MMO I play is fine cept Guild Wars 2 so its not an ISP problem its an issue on there network and btw the game was’nt always this laggy it was fine until recently then it got worse and worse over time.

I’m using the ping meter in GW1 to get the numbers, since it’s the same server with the same problems.

There’s something they’re doing with their servers that’s killing bandwidth for more players every day, despite the drop in server population. That it can carry on for so long with no attention to the problem whatsoever is unbelievably incompetent.

it’s been pretty bad today for me.. and the login server (or update server) has been unresponsive more and more making even starting the launcher a pain in the last 3 days
