This is the 3rd day since my husband filed the ticket. Beside the generic reply from GM Rand, there are no other updates from your good support team. Since your support team is not able to help, we hope that your good self can help us since you are the only person that is actively responding to the community. The support team, till date, could not even reply. I will not take “holiday” or “christmas” as an excuse for us to have a longer wait as stated in that generic reply because if you are obviously aware that it is a holiday, which Anet had made us extremely upset and unhappy, you should not be banning people while knowing that there could be “false positives” or wrongful banning.

This make us, legit players also known as consumers, have the impression that Anet doesn’t care about their players. They only care about sales from the gem store and the fight against the real money traders are to protect the gem store. I do not care how much explanation you give asking us to blame RMTers or gold sellers. Let me give you a scenario, a police is chasing a criminal and shot a passerby, are you saying that the passerby should blame the criminal for running past him? That is absurd.

This is your fight. We are legit players and we should not be wrongly banned and bear in mind that, there are no compensation or whatsoever given by Anet. An apology is just not going to cut it. Hope to hear a reply from you as soon as possible.

I was banned for “inappropriate language” for 72 hours. I don’t recall being innapropriate, but i did have some questions..
First: If there is a language filter, why is a 3 day ban with no forewarning acceptable?
Second: I didn’t get any proof about what I actually did, so i was curious if I could?
Third: I read that it may be an inappropriate name, my name is not, so i’m not sure on that.

I have not got a response yet, it’s been 3 days , and am really just curious if I can just have someone tell me what I actually did that was offensive.. because like I said, a three day ban with no warning, or screencaps of my offense.. really?

10 days have passed and I only got one computer generated reply: “I am escalating your ticket for further assistance. Once your ticket has been reviewed, someone will be in contact with you as soon as possible” on the 19th.

All I asked was to restore my account because it was hacked and my characters nearly stripped of everything. If it’s so difficult, if it’s so time consuming, if it’s such problemtic issue could I please know?
I haven’t played in 10 days for fear that everything I do wil be pointless since the account will be restored. A reply would be much appreciated.

Just happens I sent some gold from my main account to this account so I can start a new character, but it happens that my main account was banned for RMT which is not true.. I already sent a ticket and show all the screenshots for proof.. I can’t start my new account because I am worried about my main account, all the time and effort was in my main account.. 2-3 days ago Cirer lent 100g to guildmate Sylvanwood.2746 which was immediately returned. I believe Anet can check records on Sylvanwood as well.
Also recently same deal happened with coronbale.3894 but was unbanned quickly. It’s good to see Anet being on top of things and all, but really puts a dent on the Christmas spirit for the innocent people out there.

Again we have heard nothing from support other than the dismissive email that was received six days ago. Now I understand that its Christmas and soon to be New Years but we are starting to loose hope that anything will be done about this. We are starting to get the feeling that we are being “brushed under the proverbial rug” and hoping that we go away. He did not Mod or tamper with the game. It is kind of ironic that he would get nailed as he is one that regularly reports botters and those emails from the gold sellers. One of the biggest highlights of the game was the fact that the botters were so few and we hadn’t received one of those real life gold trading emails for a while.

He and I were playing as usual when he was dropped (this is not unusual) to which an update was at the same time, he updated and went to log in and was nailed with the account ban screen. I watched with horrified expression as we went through the links that were provided and found no information on it that we could understand, and was down heartened by the email response that Peter had sent him three days after the initial support email.

We run on a Satellite Internet system, with wireless router so the rest of us can play. There was three of us that all have the game but two of us are really jumpy about logging in as this is floating around out there and we have no information on what went wrong. We have discussed this with friends who are also now walking on eggshells when logging in.

I have gone through the forum looking for any ray of hope and found a few more tickets about the same thing.

My family’s other account was terminated several days ago due to “modification to the game”. We sent in a ticket to try to get it resolved and we got a response several (five) days later, but it did not help us resolve the issue. It was just a post telling us it has been terminated and told us to read the Terms and etc.

Several days later since our reply trying to resolve the issue still has no response. What do we have to do to get our other account back?

We think it has to do with the in-game store was not loading correctly due to the holidays (probably any lag) and running Skype. We have been doing our own research while we were waiting and found other people that was running Skype in the background has given the in-game detection false terminations.

To the best of our knowledge, the account was never hacked.

Please help. Been around or over ten days now and have not received any way to resolve the issue.

HI, I am one of the GW2 player, recently, I was blocked by saying selling golds,

Here is the story, but I don’t expect you all belive in this, but one day when you have same situation you will realize how this feel like,

I played a thief chr, and got to lv80 at the time I follow the Winter day event everyday, everytime you get “magic glue” or “stuffing” for 250pcs, and a “frame” each day, after five days event, someone told me you can mix “50pcs Magic Glue” and “50pcs stuffing” “Frame” and “Piles of Glittering Dust” to mix to a “Endless tonic”, once you have 4 Tonics, you are able to create a new tonic, which I got “Endless gift Dolyak tonic” and I sold it on the BL trading for 60Golds.

When I got such among of golds I was so happy, and I send 5 golds each to 4 of my friends, after that, at the night time when I was playing all the sudden, I got kick out the game, and saying I was blocked by selling golds for real-world money, so I post a support ticket to get help.

After 4 days waitting I finally got reply by GW2, and they just give me a message said my account was close as I have been selling golds,

some of my friends were blocked by borrowing each golds as well, eventually they got back the account.

Here are some Questions that I really don’t understand:

1. By saying I am selling golds for real world money, does GW2 has any prove ?? or just ramdomly block and close account ?? or (what is the prove ??)

2. If GW2 has open the function to send items and golds by mail doesn’t that mean you can use this function ?? otherwise do we have to report to GW2 everytime when we try to send a item or golds by mail, and wait for GW2 reply (which usaully take 1-3 days)

3. Some of the people who was Suspended the same reason and have unlocked, but the Suspended reason was been change by GW2 from “selling golds” to “Account been Hack”, and GW2 has give the reason by saying we think your account was been hack from someone, so we have to suspend you incase you lost anything,
(with this explanation dose GW2 try to deny they did mistaken suspend some players).
