Torn on CPU's
difference between i5 and i7 is hyperthreading feature which GW2 won’t benefit from and most games for the matter. (See Part 4.3 to understand more)

An i5 and an overclock will be all you need for years to come.
It really depends what you are going to use the machine for. If you’re just gaming and doing menial tasks, I’d run with an i5. If you’re encoding video/audio, I would roll an i7. I roll an i7 first gen but that was because I had the ability to go to Microcenter versus online outlets like TigerDirect and Newegg. For instance, right now the 3770K on Newegg is 330, whereas at Microcenter its 230.

if your worry is to not bottle neck in gw2, no cpu on the market can offer that, what gw2 needs at its current state not to bottle neck with even videocards like a 5770 is a tricore cpu at something around 6-8ghz

I sugest a i5 3570k with OC for pure gaming BUT there a few ..not many ..but a few games that r out and coming out that will benefit from a i7 3770k.
In the end its up to u. So long as u OC which ever u get, u will be happy with the performance.
If u do anything else other than gaming ..like video encoding for example ..then the i7 3770k would be a good choice. Just make sure u got enough spare cash to get a good top end air cooler and a mid range Asus or Gigabyte Motherboard.
