You can’t double-click it to select stats, you can’t even equip it. All it is good for is the skin unlock.

Why??

Because the separation between PvP and PvE skins was removed years ago.

Yes, I am aware of this. Hence my confusion about this thing still being available in PvP (Wintersday Reward Track). One would think they would have changed it to either a skin or an item where you can apply stats.

Many do not have the skin, and want it, I would guess.

Easier to do it this way than create a new item (skin)?

People actually want the prettier PvE version of the the skin, not this one. Oh well, typical Anet. So it’s save to delete this item, I guess, since it does not harbor any functionality whatsoever.
