Where does it say that this would happen if I transferred worlds. EVERYTHING I did in my guild since day one of this game has been undone?

Also, why do I need to create an entirely new log in and pswd to put in a Support Ticket?

Both these things seem ridiculous to me.

Here is where it says that:

‘Guilds are not tied to any specific world; all players can join any guild regardless of which world they play on. However, influence and guild upgrades are specific to each world: players in the same guild but on different worlds will contribute to separate influence pools and build through separate upgrade trees. Members that transfer will have to regenerate influence and build new upgrades on the new world.’

Not sure about the log in for Support, it would never let me use mine. I just send emails to support and work with them that way. No log-in required.

It isn’t really undone it s just not available on the new server. If you were to return to your first server it would all be there.

Your guild and everything you’ve done still exists…on your original server.

Ok ty for responses but they should make this VERY CLEAR for anyone doing a transfer. I really don’t want to restart everything it took me a year working almost alone for my guild to have again.

It’ll be there if you transfer back. Maybe you could get support to send you back since you are correct – It should be more clear before you hit the button in-game.

Yeah. The information is there, but you would have to know ahead of time to even ask the question. Most people are going to assume that if the bank transfers then the guild will also. Maybe you can make your case that this should have been more transparent but I suspect they will tell you that you can transfer yourself back to fix this.

Having Support look into this for now at least. I agree that it should be more obviously stated that this could happen. I mean since day one I formed my own guild and squirreled away the points to make expansions in guild bank and ability to make banners and access to guild item vendors. Far too much work to have to redo all over. I would rather just guest on other servers for activities I cannot do on my original server except WvW, of course, which was the main reason for my transfer. I would rather just suffer with my original servers struggling WvW.

Maybe information of this sort could go in the hints section of the UI. There could be a section that go toward hint mastery that you get just by clicking that you read them. It could be basic information of this sort. There are several questions I have seen repeatedly that the answers might go in there. It could easily just be a topic title such as Guild Banks and then a wiki link.
