I have now waited nearly 24 hours with trying to get my email/login name changed on my account(not this account). I have supplied EVERY single bit of information about the account that they have asked. It has now been 15 hours since their last reply to me. Their last reply to me, was the same questions I asked in the initial posting(went along with the format I was shown with Support). The issue is still unresolved. I am still not able to play MY Mesmer yet. I just want this resolved soon.

Had a different topic but, it was telling me 35 characters was too long when it’s 45 characters max.

so, 4 hours after making this thread, still not a single reply. It’s as if they are ignoring my request altogether.

Finally got the email/login changed and it turns out access was suspended on the account until I contact Support…hopefully not another 24+ hours :/

Just FYI — one of the ways the bad people try to steal your account is through asking to change the e-mail address behind your back. The team needs to be very careful, and there are quite a lot of requests, so yes, it can take a bit of time to get to this.

The good news is that these are usually handled in <48 hours, and when they are handled, they are handled carefully, so that the would-be account thief is stopped in his or her tracks!
