I’m here today with my last hope I get help restoring my friend’s account. He is one of the most dedicated GW1 and GW2 players you’ll ever meet siting on over 10k hours in GW1 and over 2k in GW2.
He tried contacting support several times and he was refused to appeal for its case every time.
The case: One evening he was trying to do that hard jumping puzzle in Metrica Province in the sky. After hour or two of failed jumping, he fell down and instead of teleporting to beginning he kept falling through the sky all the way to the bottom. Frustrated, he logged out and went to sleep. Next morning he tried to login and he was “pleasantly” surprised by the message that his account was permanently terminated.
He contacted Arenanet right away. After looking into the matter Arenanet replied:

Your Guild Wars 2 account was detected to be involved in the use of one or more disallowed third-party programs. While some programs are used for benign purposes, others are designed to cheat, exploit, or manipulate the game in an unacceptable manner.
The use of the specific program or programs associated with your account was determined to be a breach of the Guild Wars 2 User Agreement and the Rules of Conduct, both of which you accepted when creating your account. As a result of this breach, the account has been terminated.
We have complete confidence in our detection and in our decision to terminate the account. Therefore, we will not accept an appeal in relation to this account termination.
He couldn’t believe it. I know the guy personally and he would never compromise his account like that. He is an older man (late 40s), and turning up his computer successfully is a daily achievement for him. Some bad humor, but the point is he is not computer savvy, so I don’t believe he would use any illegal third party program. Furthermore, he recently bought new computer and he had only GW2 installed at the time.
He is desperate to go back into GW2 and continue playing. He is so into guild wars that he went back to playing GW1, while I promised to do everything I can to help him restore his account.
Therefor, I kindly ask you for help. Help my friend, bring him back to game. If necessary closely monitor his account.

He was not blocked in error.
He was not blocked due to a bug.
He was not hacked and the account used to cheat.
He was not denied an appeal that should have been approved.
This player—or someone he allowed to use the account from his location—cheated (many, many, many times) and his account was terminated, as per the RoC and the UA. I’m really sorry that a dedicated player was involved in this activity, but based on the numbers around this incident, and knowing the incident had nothing whatsoever to do with Metrica Province, the account termination will not be reversed.
