Per the topic title; I’ve noticed a lot of abilities need to be pressed more then once, especially the F2 key for the Ranger pet abilities. Overall the UI feels slow and sluggish as compared to other MMOs and I’ve played over 20 MMOs and GW2 definitely feels delayed.
Are the any plans at A-Net to take a look at the UI at all? Maybe some enhancements?
That’s the main reason I quit the game and won’t be coming back till they fix it. Oh and btw a lot of people can’t even notice the sluggishness so they’re like “NO IT’S PERFECTLY SLICK!”.

the game has overall performance issues that relate to it having been developed with an eye on porting to the xbox360 before they realised the games to heavy cpu wise to run on a console.
before people ask how i can say that 2 things give this alot of credibility.
1. the games designed for 4 heavy threads, the 360 uses a tri(3) core cpu.
2. the game is dx9, rather then 10 or 11 as the devlopers said for years it would be, the 360’s gfx chip is dx9 level hardware.
so yeah, dont be shocked if this dosnt get fixed till the xbox 720 comes out and anet start working on a 720 port.

I made a thread saying that I can’t even paste text in game due to a problem related to unresponsiveness of the game. I think it may be related.
