Q:

I recently made a ticket for support, and while I received confirmation via email that it indeed got submitted, I have been unable to check for updates on the website itself.

When I go to: https://help.guildwars2.com/requests it has another login option, but when I try to login there, it won’t accept my email/password as correct, despite the fact that it is. I have tried on both firefox and on IE but neither will let me log in there to check my ticket status, even though the combination is correct and (clearly) works here fine.

Is there some problem with reviewing the ticket status generally, or some way to get it to work?

That’s old support. They changed it many months ago. Not sure how you check status of new support.
