The game client lost its connection to the server please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and trying again.

I also got a ton of more errors

I am also experiencing this error at the moment. Additionally, I have received error codes 42:0:9001:4116 and 42:1020:9001:4116, which give the same message.

I wasn’t on yesterday but I’m getting the same thing today, did this resolve itself for you guys?

There’s also a thread going in Game Bugs about this same issue, not sure if this one will be merged with that or vise versa

I started seeing skills take (literally) minutes to activate, logged off to character select, couldn’t select ‘play’, closed game (naturally it crashed on closing, lol) and now can’t log in.

I keep getting error 42:1020:9001:4116, neither of the mentioned conditions apply to my network atm, so I am clueless why is this happening. Also, sometimes I get error 7 and 42:0:9001:4116 as well.

yep same here: thy say check youre firewall (don’t have one took that one out efore installing crappy windows, check you’re router, no problem login into any other game or site so no problems there

than i get connection failed, than i get transfer in progress, then i get a lot of other crap on the screen than it let me login but not play….

Really they should look into this in the last few months this is happening several times now.

came home from work…all day in my mind i was thinking to play GW2 my only hope,

Well when it does let me in, it seems like I can reset the grey ‘play’ button by clicking on another character and back again, but getting into a server isn’t actually playable anyway, there’s like 5+ second delays when it eventually loads.

its not just login issues, TP down, lag, DCs at the moment if your lucky to be ingame already

Error codes i get are currently:
Error 42:1020:9001:4116 Build 17418
Error 26:11:5:506 Build 17418

When I do manage to get logged in and connected…
Select a character and hit “play” it fails to connect to a game server and reboots the client requiring login again. Gw2 forum also intermittent to login lot of error code 42’s or pwd/acct name not recognised combination.

Its definitely playing up again. I’m getting error code: 42:0:9001:4116 and 42:6:3:2060

I have the same problem – keep getting error 42:6:3:2060 or 7:11:1:519. Does anybody know how to deal with this? I’ve just uninstalled my antivirus and still nothing :/ (and my internet works perfectly fine on other computers)

Got the same problem 7:11:1:519 and 42:6:3:2060. I just think gw2 has too much traffic right now. Everything except for gw2 and german gw2 forum sites work fine for me.

Now gw2 is working for me.
