i have tried to log in today after about a week or so without playing, and i can log in to the character menu fine, but when i try to play any of my characters spread throughout the map LA, rata sum and caledon forest i get a continuous loading screen. tried logging in a lower population server as guest and same thing.

my isp is BT and i have no issues with any other games online or any connectivity issues.

any help please as to what i can do,

It just stays there loading, without freezing? Try repairing the game client or reinstall it completely. If neither doesn’t work let’s see what else we might find.

Its lag, plain and simple, my friends and me are having the same problem.

If you try to connect during off-peak times you should be able to connect.

This started happening to us about 5 days ago, before that it was fine.

Anet really needs to sort this issue, theres plenty of people having this same problem (check the many lag threads)

Part of me (the paranoid part lol) thinks its selective, because me and others can connect with a 2nd character, but not our main.
