So I decided to return to the game after 2 years of inactivity. Not only I found that my Access Key was disabled for no reason, I now find an issue with purchasing gems via the black lion store (Some random errors). Still, I wanted to give the game another chance so I just purchased the HoT expansion just so that I can log-in today instead of waiting for my tickets to be replied.

So is there any way to browse what the store offers from outside of the game? Is there even an option for people to purchase gems not via the ingame store?

Yes, you can purchase Gems (cards) via authorized retailers.

Did you create a new account with your Heart of Thorns key? Or were you able to upgrade the ‘disabled’ account? New accounts have restrictions for up to 30 days; I’m not sure if purchasing Gems in-game is one of them.

I did manage to solve the problem by just purchasing the HoT key. So I still manage to log with all my characters still intact. Oh I did not know gems are available from retailers too, thanks ^^

Depends on the country. The country I’m in does not have gem cards in store. If your country has a currency type on the gem store, then there is a better chance you’ll have retailers with gem cards.
