Hi,

Previously after a large patch, I have always moved the updated .dat file from one computer to another, replacing the old version. This meant I didn’t have to download the update twice.

However when I tried to do that today, the other computer has a pop-up box trying to “repair archived files” which loads for about a minute or two before freezing. Then, the download launcher begins downloading about 229k files. I’ve tried deleting the .dat and replacing many times with the same result. Any suggestions to fix this?

I copied my gw2.dat file to my other machines without issues. Try deleting the local.dat file.

I’m having the same problem. Every time I start up the launcher now it starts downloading from the beginning and never saves its progress.
