Q:

The university my friend plays at is preventing him from playing gw2. Are there any solutions to fix this problem other than asking the IT guys on his floor to unblock the ports? I’ve been looking for a program to solve this problem but I haven’t found any yet that are free. Any support would be appreciated, thank you.

The simplest solution would be to setup SSH or a VPN on your computer, or another computer outside of his network.

You can do your own tunneling/vpn or you can use 3rd party services like WTFast or Battleping
