Gained about 20FPS across the board by unparking my CPU Cores on Windows 7.

It applies on any multicore system.
I did the same a year ago, got the same 15-20 fps on my i5-460 (Laptop processor)

It helps alleviate parking issues associated with newer AMD moduled cores and how Windows parks the cores. For instance, if you run Windows 7 and an i7, you can run tests that will show you remain within the margin of error (1.5%) for unparking all cores or letting Windows do that for you.

Yea i unparked my cores a while back and my FPS was still within margin for error so i couldnt see any difference.

there is another program called park control that can disable core parking without a reset, allowing you to do it on the fly without a regedit.
