Guild Wars 2

Right, I bought the game today and started playing on Aurora glade server, it was all easy and fine during afternoon, but when I logged in now (around 20:00-21:00) I am experiencing UNPLAYABLE lags, I have to wait 5 seconds for my spells to go off. Now, is this normal, should I just transfer to a different server or what is going on?

PS I have no idea how to check my latency.

From what I can tell its happening to a bunch of people. I am having the same problems though its much more then 5 seconds (so long I generally give up and log out when I see it won’t work immediately). I can’t help you fix it, though you can check latency (not sure how accurate it is though).

Log in to the world, and then minimize your game. (ALT + TAB works or the windows button, etc). From that open your resource manager. Go to the tab that says network connections. There should be a line that says Guild Wars 2, and a couple ip addresses and then your latency.
