Guild Wars 2

I’ve been stuck on 99% of the update with 2 files remaining for well over 30mins. I know I have a pretty bad connection but it’s registering 0Kb/s. I don’t want to close it down in case I have to start the dl again.

Same here. It’s been over an hour now…
Even closed it and started again (only those 2 files, so it got stuck at 0%). Downloaded more than 300 MB like that, at 0-100 KB/s speed (constantly going up and down, even if my connection is perfectly fine and it should download a lot faster).
It made no sense so I closed it again and now I’m repairing files (and it seems stuck also…)

Edit: It finished repairing but the update is stuck at the same place…

Same here, downloaded over 1gb while stuck at 99% with 2 files remaining, tried restarting launcher, and then my computer with no success so far, trying again after the new build still 2 files remaining with ~170mb downloaded… Does anyone have any sort of fix for this?

stuck on 0%(because we close the client) 2 files remaining and it’s never ends (more than 1gb downloaded), tried to repair but it don’t fix this problem.

I restarted the dl after I heard there was a new build. Was at 100% instantly, no idea why but try restarting it a few times.

Tried restarting after new build a few times, still stuck on the last 2 files…

I already downloaded almost 4GB files and can not get out of the 0 %

just noticed that the “Connection error(s) detected, retrying…” window keeps on flashing while the launcher ‘downloads’ the last 2 files, idk if its the same for you all but if so maybe that’s related to the problem?

I don’t have any error messages in my launcher, just these 2 last files infinite download.

so the download just finished for me(thanks the gods), i followed the suggestion on this reddit thread and just let the patch go on its own, it downloaded around 100mb before being done

I tried this with many servers, no luck

Try to put this: “C:\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -assetsrv 93.188.135.37:80

On: right click on the shortcut → destination

That worked for me.

On MAC u can try this.

Open the Terminal and type:

/applications/guild\ wars\ 2.app/contents/MacOS/cider —use-dos-cwd C:Gw2 -- C:\\GW2\\GW2.exe –assetsrv 93.188.135.37:80

Same problem here. 2 files remaining and I’ve been waiting hours on them to download with no luck. I tried the solution suggested on Reddit without any luck so far.
