I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade a Heart of Thorns pre-purchase from the Standard to Ultimate editions? I saw from the FAQ:

If I purchase the Standard or Deluxe editions of Heart of Thorns will I be able to upgrade to Deluxe or Ultimate later?
Starting on June 23, 2015, you will be able to upgrade to Deluxe in the gem store, but the only way to receive the Ultimate edition is to buy it from buy.guildwars2.com or in-game.

But when I look in the Black Lion Trading Company, there is no HoT banner to purchase the Ultimate edition. Searching for heart of thorns only shows the Deluxe edition. Is there someway in-game that I am missing for trying to upgrade my account?

There is no upgrading an account to Ultimate from HoT standard.

You can not upgrade to ultimate if you buy standard or deluxe HoT. You can only get ultimate if you buy it from start.
