Very Low Fps
Thanks for attaching the DxDiag report.
CPU is nice, plenty of memory, and running 64-bit Windows 7.
1.) As for your video card the report just starts “AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series”. Is that a 6930, 6950, 6970, or 6990?
2.) Update your BIOS here. The latest is version F11 from 2012, but they have multiple updates from 2011 to 2012.
3.) Your CPU’s default clock speed is 3.1 GHz. You overclocked it to 3.4GHz. Have you done a thorough test (ie: Prime 95) for hours at that overclock speed? When you’re troubleshooting things and reach a dead end, always use stock speed to test.
4.) You’re using the latest AMD video drive package 12.11 (driver version 9.10.8.0). Your 6900 series card is from 2010 tech. I never trust AMD to have bug-free latest drivers. Roll back to a 2011 driver or something before the 12.10 package to test. Try 12.8 to test
5.) I see driver listings in your DirectX Diag file like “PCI standard host CPU bridge”, “PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge”, and a lot of others with “standard” in their name. That means you’re using default Microsoft drivers for those parts of your motherboard. Have you downloaded and installed the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard? Download and install the [url=http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3908#dl]following drivers from this page[url]…
5a.) AMD Chipset Driver
5b.) Realtek Function driver for Realtek Azalia audio chip
5c.) Realtek LAN Driver
5d.) Etron USB 3.0 Driver (might as well while you’re here)
6.) What graphics settings have you tried in-game?
7.) You have a lot of DirectX filters installed, including ones from Sony. Do you have Sony software installed? Remove it temporarily to troubleshoot and see if the Sony listings are remove from the DXDiag report as a last resort.
I hope at least something there helps. :-)
