Guild Wars 2

Ok so i just spent about a week with support and they finally told me that they could not identify the problem and told me to check the forums. The bug is this; during large events such as dragons or even when there are more then 6 or 7 people doing things at once, my sound cuts out. Now, it’s not like i cant hear ANYTHING or it gets muted or anything like, but in things like dragon events, i never hear the dragons sfx and only hear 3 or 4 abilities going off int he background when there are more then 20 people there popping off abilities. Anyone have any idea what’s causing this? We found through support that it wasnt my drivers or game options. I don;t think it’s my speakers cuz they dont have issues with any other games. Another thing that might help is that when support told me to change my settings (sound quality to fastest and mixer to most stable) while moving the cursor in that option, my game froze, multiple times.

I haven’t had this problem to the extent that you’ve had it. I’ve had a problem where my sound will sometimes lag in huge events, or I will simply not hear any of the skills I’m using. Not sure if it’s the same problem, sound familiar to you?

Yes this seems similar, like you said not the extreme of mine, but yes, it sounds similar
