I’m sure this has been brought up many times before, but I the information seems to be all over the place in terms of how this works.

I pre-purchased HoT 2-3 days ago, my understanding is that I would get a free character slot for doing that. However, I still haven’t gotten one after this much time and would really, really, really appreciate getting a new one (I have a craving to level a charrgineer, and I am out of character slots).

If anyone can she some light on possible manually activating the slot somehow(?), a dev who reads this doing it for me, or even just the average amount of time a person would have to wait to get their slot.

Well, since it’s a ‘pre-purchase’ you’re purchasing things in advance. Meaning you’ll get your characters slot when HoT comes out. Well I think that’s what would happen, anyway.

They give the veteran character slots out on Fridays. So of you don’t get one by then and you had purchased the base game before HoT was announced, then contact support.
