I’m considering to update my whole setup with a new computer, mouse, keyboard and screen.

I found this curved 34" ultrawide screen with a 3440×1440 resolution in 21:9 ratio that i was interested in and wonder if GW2 is compatible to run on a screen like this whitout leaving me with black bars on the sides?

What is the highest resolution and what different ratios can you use to play the game?

I’ve also been considering a 21:9 monitor, but it would be for the Mac [Beta] client, so a related, but perhpas more general question — I’d be curious to know if the Cider wrapper provides for all the same resolutions that the native Windows client supports, with the same rendering behaviors, (i.e., black bars, full screen windowed mode, etc).

The game has native 21:9 support, you won’t see black bars in full screen. Also, I’ve run the game at 4k and I remember someone moving it even at 5k.
