Unfortunately I’m seeing driver crashes anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours into gameplay and FPS will drop to 20 until I reboot the game. Anyone else having a similar issue?

I have all settings set to “Application-controlled” and ambient occlusion turned OFF and I’ve had no problems other than lackluster performance (see the thread I started). I did have one driver crash about an hour ago like you described after I had been playing for around 4 hours, but I am overclocking slightly so I toned that down just a little because I thought that might be the cause (although I’ve played nearly 100 hours since head start without any driver crashes until that one).

I’m running at factory overclock which has been stable for every other game thus far (GTX 680 SC Signature+ by EVGA x2), but would REALLY like to use ambient occlusion… I suppose I could tone it down. It’s so pretty though.

try running the 306.02 Beta Drivers
i was getting choppy performance all of a sudden yesterday as well as a crash or 2. wasn’t happening before last night. went to the 306.02 and no more crash’s but noticed some frame drops / visual lag, but very very small
and i have the game manage video options, the Nvidia Profile is default

I am running the same as you pretty much, but I have AA forced to 32×.
Pretty much everything is set to the maximum possible, both in the game, as well as in the Nvidia control panel and I am having zero issues.
To the point that I can actually do Fraps recording at 1080p and still maintain 30fps.
I am using a Gigabyte GeForce 660 Superclocked Version.
I have never had a driver crash or FPS drop, even in large scale PVP. I am running the latest driver release. Note: I am also running on Windows 8.

That’s what I’m running, you need them in order to even have ambient occlusion as an option.

Nvidia Drivers have had problems with when the clock speeds are changed (such as with my EVGA gts450), can cause them to crash.
My advice, since you’re using an EVGA card anyway, would be in install the EVGA Precision X program, which you can use to at the very least monitor your card performance while you’re playing.

I cleared up my problems by
1) get latest beta driver
2) enable SLI
3) run the game in a window

What size window? I’m using windowed fullscreen.
