I registered for SMS authentification for my account, and the message said I should receive a Free Mini Mystical Dragon. I can’t see it in-game. Do I have to activate it in some way?

Check mail. Just make sure that other mail is not hiding it. I think there is a maximum visible mail of 5 that contains items, and when you clear those you see more.
