Why can't I use trading post?

Q:

I bought a heart of thorns account and my account is verified i have the mini dragon to prove it. But yet I try to sell something on the trading post and it says my account requires validation and will unlock in 4 days. WTF?

There are restrictions on all newly purchased accounts.

I don’t see why it should be restricted if the account is bought and paid for. I understand the access to guild banks but to use the trading post is nothing that should be restricted.
