Guild Wars 2

So, I noticed today when I shifted to windowed mode that there was a different language being used in the title bar of my game client. No idea how this has happened. All my in-game options are set to English. I can’t find a language option in the .exe properties. Any help or suggestions?

Still no idea what is going on with this. Any help is appreciated.

You are not the only one. I get that too but not all the time. Just maybe every other time or every third time. I was curious too so I did a google search and your question is the only one mentioning it. No one else and no answers. I figure it is Chinese but not sure. I assume it says Guild Wars 2.

Nah, it doesn’t say anything like “Guild Wars 2” in Chinese.

Do full scans for malware and viruses.

I did. Nothing found. Oddly enough it went away on its own and I have not seen it since I posted here about it … coincidence? I still wish Anet would read this and give some insight on this.

This has been posted about (as well as in-game items with other language mouse-overs) since ArenaNet first started working on the Chinese client.

Nothing harmful has ever come from it, no adverse effects posted on the forums. A player could, if one so desired, contact CS, but the Team is overwhelmed at this time, and an answer could take some time. Or, they might just suggest posting in the Bug sub-forum. /shrug
