Will I be banned?
And I just got a message when trying to send the mail on my alt account saying I need to play the game more to unlock bigger bigger values to send to other players?
I heard this limit is only for 30days since when you created the account, I created my account on the 19th January this year so I’m guessing on 19th Feb I can send stuff/
Usually it is no reason for banning.
Why don’t you use a guild for exchanging stuff and money between your accounts?
BTW It is possible to edit your post by using the pencil icon.
You won’t be banned just for sending things and gold through the mail between 2 accounts.
@Michael—things and money in accounts can be rolled back. Right now, things and money in guilds cannot. (It’s nice to have this available even if you’re very careful with security of your account.) Also, if you do a server transfer, your character’s stuff transfers, but guild stuff does not. Since mail works just fine, I lean toward using it instead of a guild bank to move things from character to character in the same guild.
But I was thinking along the lines of moving things from account to account, while both accounts belong to the same guild and are residing on the same server.
For character to character transfers we have the bank.
I mailed too between my 2 accounts, because you will have to build the guild up for having a bank there. But if I would run into any troubles, I would choose the guild bank.
I added that only, so that everybody can see, that I see the problems, limitations and probable solutions. Nothing is perfect though.

I read somewhere that you have a limit on what you can send on news accounts which is 30 days, after the 30 days you can send what ever you want. Would be good if a Mod or someone from Arena net can answer this.
As such a limit is a protection against Gold Sellers, I wouldn’t like this information made public. The bad guys like to have those informations too, in order to circumvent it.
At the same time I guess it might not be the only limit for mailing. I think I encountered a limit in sending to many mails in to short of time. Other limits might be thinkable too.

ArenaNet might not want to reveal exactly how it works, and of course, they can decide to change it at any time.

If you are conducting legitimate trades or transfers, and if both accounts are eligible to trade, you should be just fine.

Okay, so I have 2 accounts one is my mains and other is my alts.
On my alts I have a bunch of ectoplasm and a bunch of gold, about 150g. If I send mail to my main characters will I be banned or be looked at because it’s a huge amount of gold ect…
use a guild bank to transfer that large amount of gold.
sending 10 gold and above using in game mail and you will need to send support tickets to unlock both accounts.
